As another year draws to a close, Sarsfield Memorials would like to thank all our customers for their support and wish you all the best for 2025.

We are now entering our 78th year of operations. Sarsfield Memorials was founded by James Sarsfield (left) in 1947 and is now run by his granddaughter Ursula, who joined the business in 1997 and became managing director ten years later.  We are proud that Sarsfield is Liverpool’s longest-established family-run monumental mason business.

We would especially like to thank customers for trusting us throughout 2024, allowing us to develop their ideas into original and workable memorial designs. We aim to provide a fitting tribute to your loved ones and providing it is within the cemetery guidelines and can be produced, nothing is ruled out when it comes to memorial designs.

Advances in technology in recent years have vastly increased the scope of our designs whilst maintaining affordability.  From that initial sit down with a customer and making a sketch, to erecting the memorial in the cemetery, we will remain attentive to your wishes every step of the way. We continue listening to your thoughts and ideas, making alterations where practical.  We are currently working on some unique designs and look forward to them coming to fruition in 2025. When we have permission to share them, we look forward to publishing photos so customers can see what is achievable nowadays.

Although we do enjoy working on unique designs at Sarsfield Memorials, we would not be able to survive as a business without orders for conventional ogee memorials. These are the most popular amongst customers due to their cost and low maintenance. They are also suitable for churchyards where there are greater restrictions on memorial size and shape.

Early in 2025, we will be introducing some special offers on existing stock. We will also be producing some architectural carved pieces for the home and garden. Please keep an eye on our website, Facebook and Instagram pages for further information.
