Who We Are
Sarsfield Memorials Liverpool is the oldest family-run monumental mason in Liverpool, UK. Our 3rd-generation family business has a strong tradition of providing a high-quality and personal service to every customer.
Our family business has been running for over seventy years, having been established in 1947 by grandfather James Sarsfield. He was joined by his sons, Tony, Bernard and Terry, in the 1950s.
My father, Terry, the youngest of the three brothers, served his apprenticeship in the craft of stone masonry in Carrara, home of the famous marble in Italy, in the 1950s. While there, he studied all aspects of traditional carving and stone masonry.
Today, after twenty years’ experience as a business manager in the stone masonry industry, I now take great pride in bringing our traditional service approach to a wider public.
